Chanel unveiled the new Haute Joaillerie collection “1.5 1 Camelia. 5 Allures “. Iconic flower of Gabrielle Chanel, the camellia inspires this collection of 50 pieces of which 23 are transformable, allowing to choose the desiredscope. The almost geometric and regular petals are adorned with diamonds, pink sapphires, red spinels, rubies, rose quartz, cultured pearls or moonstones. These gems with subtle luster are set on pink or white gold. The aerial volumes of these jewels express all the know-how and creativity of CHANEL Joaillerie.

Lydia Courteille presented her new collection “Marie-Antoinette Dark Side“. This Marie-Antoinette, seen from a very different angle, is a woman full of charm and seduction, who has been shut up little by little in unpopularity and disgrace. The character of the archduchess and this dark period of her history inspired the Parisian designer, directing her to an almost Gothic collection. The two colors in the spotlight are the soft pastel blue and the golden royal. Lydia Courteille used mostly aquamarines, blue and yellow sapphires, yellow quartz, diamonds but also blue enamel. She used blue titanium to sublimate the beauty of gems of the same tone. Lydia Courteille mixes royal symbols, such as the lily, the crown or the harp, with cobwebs, symbolizing the Queen’s Prison. Marie-Antoinette Dark Side tells a sad story through soft colors and surprising pieces.

London jeweler Davis Morris introduced the “Chromatophore” collection of 23 High Jewelry pieces including rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. Chromatophores are the cells containing the pigments that give the skin color and the eyes of certain animals. These bright colors found in wildlife inspired Artistic Director Jeremy Morris in his bold choice of stones. This collection celebrates the rarest and most unique gems that nature can offer such as emeralds, opals, Paraiba tourmalines, rubies or sapphires.

Harry Winston introduced new cocktail rings. With the “Candy” collection, the American house signs a return of colored stones. It is inspired by a series of archival sketches dating from the 50s and 60s that showcased stones with original and unusual colors. In 2019, Harry Winston offers us beautiful color sapphires, garnets, aquamarines, tourmalines and spinels of superior quality. These beautiful center stones of between 6 and 20 carats are surrounded and enhanced by diamonds and other colored stones in different sizes and colors.
