During Paris couture week , I had the chance to discover the new collection of high jewelry of jeweler from New York, Tiffany & Co. It was almost a year since I had not seen the creations of world number 1 so it is a pleasure to come back today on this presentation and share with you the news of Tiffany & Co. For Tiffany Masterpiece 2016 collection, the artistic director Francesca Amfitheatrof plunged back into the house of the archives to present two themes: Tiffany Prism and Tiffany Ribbons.
Life in color
The first is inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany was the first artistic director of the house whose work of plique-Ã -jour and use of light and color have been outstanding. Jewelry with colored stones as tsavorite, sapphires or garnets which shades of green, blue, pink or orange, round shapes have been designed to be wear both day and night. Rings and pendants that remind me of the disco balls that shine in all colors, are very funny, playful and glamorous at once.

Timeless elegance
The second theme thank techno color and wisely welcomes diamond and pearl. Ribbons Tiffany was inspired by the timeless icon of elegance and style, Audrey Hepburn. These jewels transcribe the movements of the ribbon with cascades of diamonds and pearls around the neck or earlobe. These creations both classic and elegant, are obviously very impressive and convertible simultaneously.

I could also discover some creations designed by Jean Schlumberger in the 50’s that the American house has reissued. Known for his travel and nature inspirations, famous jewelry designer has created the illusion of movement with the perfect setting of the stones, as in the famous shell clip. The brilliance of the stones, in the fabulous creations inspired by the underwater world or flowers, remains the signature of Jean Schlumberger easily recognizable.
