Every year at the beginning of the year, I dive into predictions for the next twelve months and capture the global zeitgeist. While analyzing the future trends, I am always happy to discover the new hues for upcoming year. The color is a very important element in the watch and jewelry sector because it serving as an expression of a mood and an attitude on the part of the consumer. Let’s take a closer look at what shades to bet on in 2024?
In December 2023 the Pantone Institute, the world’s color authority, introduced Peach Fuzz as its color of the year for 2024. It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul. PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. The introduction of PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz also marks the 25th anniversary of the Pantone Color of the Year program.
In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.

In tough times, we crave more love, empathy, and kindness. We also dream of a calmer future. PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz captures this feeling with its cozy color, expressing our desire for togetherness and a sense of safety. It brings a fresh and soft touch to the way we see things. A warm and cozy shade brings the message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration. This sweet shade can be beautifully interpreted into precious material like red or rose gold, enamel or lacquer. Also it will be easily to find the gemstones into this color like peach moonstone, morganite, padparadscha sapphire, royal topaz or coral to name a few.

So as all experts have agreed and predicted very soft and yummy shades for this year, let’s see if there are also other colors to watch in the near future. At the end of November 20223 WGSN and Coloro unveiled their Key Colors for Autumn/Winter 2025/2026, reflecting trends influenced by consumer priorities such as wellbeing, creativity, environmental consciousness, and technology. The experts in forecasting and colors selected five colors for A/W 25/26: Celestial Yellow, Cherry Lacquer, Retro Blue, Neon Flare, and Future Dusk.
The last one was chosen as a color for 2025. In the upcoming year, strategic imagination will take center stage, channeling individual and collective creativity to craft innovative economic and ecological solutions. Future Dusk, gracefully balances blue and purple, infusing an aura of mystery and escapism with its deep and brooding qualities. This surreal and otherworldly shade carries a celestial and futuristic essence, drawing inspiration from the unfolding second space age. It perfectly embodies the transition from darkness to light, dusk to dawn, setting the stage for new horizons and exciting possibilities. Without a doubt, this dark and moody color brings to mind tanzanite which I would love to see more in jewelry.
To finish my color rapport for the upcoming 12 months, I checked the Pinterest Predicts. As always this social media platform gives very interesting insights. Two shades caught my eye. The first is blue, deep, or soft but for sure is coming back. Blue beauty suits everyone and I see this tone easily used in the watch and jewelry industry too.
The second is the metal aesthetic. Cool silver or bold chrome are resonating tones right now. Silver is very popular now as lots of brands currently launching their silver jewelry collection. This precious metal deserves all our attention. Embrace the hot metal trend that will be in style in 2024.
