The International Fair of Amber and Jewellery, known as AMBERIF, is set to take place from March 21 to 23. The event will be hosted at the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gdansk. An exciting schedule of competitions, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions is planned for the event. Boasting nearly 250 exhibitors, the upcoming edition in spring is geared towards a business-oriented audience. Join me in Amber’s capital city to discover more about AMBERIF Spring 2024.
AMBERIF has been a genuine tribute to the jewelry industry for years. Recognized as the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to amber and a premier jewelry trade fair in Central Europe, it offers an exceptional platform for conducting business meetings, forging new connections, staying abreast of industry developments, and unveiling new collections. While amber takes center stage at the fair, it’s noteworthy that the event also showcases exhibitors highlighting gold, silver, diamonds, precious stones, fashion jewelry, watches, and equipment for both
companies and jewelry showrooms.
AMBERIF’s upcoming edition includes partnerships with key chambers of commerce, including the Polish- Swedish Chamber of Commerce, the Polish- Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, and the Polish- Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce. These partnerships open up new avenues for international cooperation, providing participants with fresh opportunities to engage in global business ventures and foster connections across borders.
An outstanding feature of AMBERIF is the Designers’ Zone, a showcase highlighting premier and distinctive collections crafted by leading Polish artists. Visitors are especially encouraged to explore the Start-Up Zone, where emerging designers will be making their debut with original jewelry creations.
Industry enthusiasts will also find the Tech-Zone intriguing, as it unveils the latest technological innovations in the world of jewelry. This dynamic blend of creativity, innovation, and emerging talent enhances the overall experience for attendees.
Beyond its primary focus on business, AMBERIF offers a vibrant array of engaging events. Foremost among these is the prestigious international AMBERIF DESIGN AWARD competition, tailored for designers and creators of artistic jewelry. In keeping with tradition, the spring edition of the Fair will feature this Competition for Jewellery Design with Amber, themed “Symbol of Hope.” The central concept of this project is to identify and honor the most talented artists showcasing their unique and compelling interpretations of the theme.
Another highlight of the AMBERIF Fair is the AMBERIF SELECTION competition, which plays a key role in singling out the finest product showcased by
exhibitors at the Fair. A coveted spot in the global advertising campaign for
the upcoming edition of the event is earned by the chosen product, resulting in prestige and recognition for the winning exhibitor.
Moreover, attendees can look forward to a diverse program of lectures, demonstrations, and training sessions dedicated to trends in design, jewelry
technology, e-commerce, as well as insights into amber and gemology. I am delighted to give a seminar about “Digital tools in the jewelry industry”
on 21 March at AMBERIF.
Beyond the exhibitions and events within the fair, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in accompanying events outside the fair space. Notable among these is the exhibition entitled “30 Years of Amber Design,” curated in celebration of the 30th anniversary of S&A Jewellery Design. Additionally, an exhibition featuring works by Maciej Rozenberg, an artist from Gdańsk and a graduate of the local Academy of Fine Arts, coupled with a fashion show, will be showcased at the Amber Museum in Gdańsk.
AMBERIF Spring 2024 offers an immersive experience celebrating the beauty and diversity of amber and jewelry. So book your trip to Gdańsk today and let’s
meet in March at AMBERIF.
