Color of the year 2022

At the end of December 2021 Institut Pantone, the global authority on colour, has picked “Very Peri” as the colour of the year for 2022. For the first time Pantone created a new color that introduice the calm of blue and the energy of red. Goodbye to the duo of Ultimate Gray and Iluminating and welcome to Very Peri. Its not the first time that the shade of purple is a lucky winner of the year. In 2018 Ultra Violet was already chosen as a color of the year. While blue is always a favorite, it tends to suggest a certain coolness and distance. Pantone therefore added a “red-violet undertone”.
