Gucci : Labirinti

During Haute Couture Week in July 2024 in Paris, Gucci unveiled its new high jewelry collection, Labirinti, inspired by enchanting Italian gardens. The majestic labyrinths and captivating mazes of this collection highlight exquisite gems. Centered around three main themes—ordered harmony, geometric splendor, and flourishing nature—Labirinti by Gucci is a true treasure of charm and surprises. It features unexpected elements like a dragonfly and a new interpretation of the House’s G motif, adorned with sparkling pavé diamonds. With 140 unique pieces, this collection celebrates the emotion, where instinct and passion blend with aesthetic purity and refinement. Welcome to the labyrinths of Gucci, filled with beauty and elegance.

Symmetry and Ordered Beauty

The “Giardini all’italiana” captures beauty through harmony and design purity, an essence conveyed by the Labirinti Gucci collection with exceptional gems. A rigid bracelet showcases a 5.93-carat Colombian emerald with “garden” inclusions and five fancy diamonds, intertwined with a pavé diamond motif echoing Gucci’s signature G. A necklace centered on a 56.37-carat oval green tourmaline reveals harmonious symmetry with 11 additional tourmalines sparkling in matching hues. This quest for order and balance continues with a set of rubellite and tsavorite jewelry, forming a refined floral bouquet. A rigid bracelet adorned with a 30.57-carat pear-shaped rubellite tourmaline and rubellite and tsavorite beads radiates vibrant colors. Symmetry is also expressed in a necklace with a 28.07-carat spinel pendant, complemented by rubellite tourmaline and pear-shaped tsavorites, recreating nature’s richness and illustrating Gucci’s elegance and creativity.

Geometric Splendor

The Labirinti Gucci collection celebrates geometric beauty with pieces inspired by majestic labyrinths. A sumptuous necklace pairs a 53.25-carat lagoon tourmaline with a 19.68-carat Ethiopian opal, framed by mandarin garnets and brilliant opals, set with diamonds. Another necklace features a rare 20.45-carat Paraíba tourmaline emitting green and blue hues, with a trio of yellow sapphires suspended from it, on a white gold chain paved with diamonds reminiscent of Gucci’s G motif. The collection also includes aquamarine and tourmaline jewelry.  A three-strand necklace with Paraíba tourmalines and dark green tourmalines ends with a 62.58-carat octagonal aquamarine, surrounded by baguette-cut diamonds. A matching bracelet with a 35.69-carat aquamarine, a ring with a 10.76-carat aquamarine, and kite-shaped earrings adorned with emerald pearls and diamonds complete this geometric and refined ensemble.

Blooming Nature

Labirinti Gucci evokes love and adventure with animal-inspired motifs, notably the dragonfly, a symbol of rebirth and freedom. This graceful and harmonious creature appears on brooches adorned with tanzanites, Paraíba tourmalines, white and fancy diamonds, and mismatched earrings with pink spinels, emeralds, and diamonds. Dazzling necklaces also capture nature in full bloom. A highlight features a 113.35-carat elongated green tourmaline, exceptionally vivid and inclusion-free, that can be worn in various ways. Another floral necklace, set with a 60.89-carat tanzanite, combines tanzanites, diamonds, Paraíba, and fancy tourmalines in a splendid floral design.

Labirinti Gucci guides us through a garden of harmonious creations, rooted in reason and order, embodying the spirit of Gucci’s high jewelry and its quest for sophistication, elegance, and beauty.
