The Japanese jewelry house TASAKI took advantage of Paris Haute Couture Weekin July 2024 to unveil two exceptional collections. Highlighting their new high jewelry collection in collaboration with the Ritz Paris, titled “Nouvelle Ère,” as well as their 7th high jewelry Atelier collection inspired by the sea, TASAKI continues to leave its mark on the luxury world.
TASAKI and the Ritz Paris: A New Era of High Jewelry
TASAKI, in collaboration with the legendary Ritz Paris, presented “Nouvelle Ère,” their fourth collection celebrating the 125th anniversary of the iconic hotel. Comprising 13 sumptuous pieces, this collection is divided into four distinct sets: “Lumineux,” “Scintillement,” “Unisson,” and “Harmonie.” Each set reflects the grandeur and elegance of the Ritz Paris, merging TASAKI’s artisanal craftsmanship with the hotel’s innovative spirit.
The “Lumineux” pieces capture the extravagant spirit of César Ritz’s balls, with 18-carat white gold jewelry adorned with Akoya pearls and colored diamonds. These creations evoke the flames of candles, fireworks, and champagne bubbles, recalling the magic of past celebrations.
Inspired by the Ritz’s iconic curved staircase, the “Scintillement” collection celebrates the hotel’s historic architecture. A remarkable necklace with 16 canary tourmalines set in white gold and diamonds, along with asymmetrical earrings and rings adorned with mandarin garnets and canary tourmalines, compose this series. Each piece echoes the staircase steps and the rich history of the venue.
“Unisson” draws inspiration from the cultural effervescence of Paris a century ago. The elegant curves of pearls and asymmetrical tanzanites, set with diamonds, illustrate the dynamic of the era. This collection, including a necklace, a ring, and a bracelet, highlights a central 7.31-carat tanzanite, capturing the exuberant spirit of this artistic period.
The “Harmonie” series revisits the 1920s style with a modern and bold touch. Akoya pearls are beautifully paired with a variety of gemstones such as diamonds, garnets, amethysts, and aquamarines. This versatile series includes earrings, a bracelet, and a modular necklace, allowing for versatility in wearing the jewelry.
TASAKI Atelier: A Collection Inspired by the Sea
In parallel, TASAKI Atelier presented its 7th high jewelry collection, inspired by the sea and composed of three sets: “Serenity,” “Cove,” and “Linkage.”
The “Serenity” set captures the timeless beauty of the sea with a sumptuous palette of blues. Each piece evokes the ocean’s hues, from turquoise waters to mysterious depths, symbolized by sapphires and aquamarines. The scarf necklace in this range is distinguished by a 7.86-carat tanzanite.
The pieces in the “Cove” collection are inspired by coves sculpted by waves. Crafted in 18-carat white gold, they capture the subtle shimmer of waves with diamonds, Akoya pearls, and other colored gemstones.
The “Linkage” collection draws inspiration from pearl oysters cultivated in TASAKI farms. Combining modernity and elegance, the pieces in this range are embellished with diamonds arranged to reflect the nacreous layers of pearl oysters.
The new TASAKI collections presented during Paris Haute Couture Week perfectly embody the spirit of innovation and exceptional craftsmanship. Whether it’s the homage to the Ritz Paris or the marine inspiration, each piece is a masterpiece celebrating the fusion of tradition and modernity. With these new collections, TASAKI reaffirms its position as a leader in the world of high jewelry, celebrating luxury and heritage through unique and inspiring creations.
