Élégance GS is the new jewelry brand created in 2017 by Gevorgyan Samson. Elegant and refined creations are handcrafted in their Parisian workshop. Tradition and modernity are well transcribed in these original and precious jewels for both men and women.
From Armenia to Paris
Gevorgyan Samson was born in 1981 in Armenia in the city of Yerevan. From his childhood, he was in the jewelry industry like his father Raf and his great-grandfather Samson. A graduate of the Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts, he naturally pursues the family tradition. Passionate about great masters like Fabergé, Posier, Dinglinger, Sazinov or Lalique, he strives for perfection in all of his creations. In 2001 he moved to Russia where his father got a job in fine jewelery sector. In Moscow began his career as a jeweler and he began to work with his father. The mentor and unfailing support, Raf Gevorgyan transmitted to his son all the mysteries of the jeweler’s trade. Samson is passionate about France and Paris, the impressionist and high jewelry. In 2011 he moved with his family to France. With his professional experience, he collaborates with houses in Place Vendôme in order to better understand the creation “made in France”. Hard worker and perfectionist in every detail, Samson is finally ready to embark on his own in jewelry creation. In order to fully express his creativity, he founded Élégance GS.
Passion for history
Fascinated by history, Samson creates jewelry that is inspired by people or patterns that marked his time. To pay homage to his new adopted country, he created the “Napoleon” collection. The tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte, the bracelet and the ring, recalls the shape of the headgear worn by the emperor and has become one of the attributes that characterizes his silhouette. The black and white diamonds set in white and yellow gold perfectly represent this famous symbol of this historic figure.
The “Pour vous Messieurs” collection is inspired by the weapons of different cultures and civilizations such as the Urartu or the Vikings. Weapons like the sword, the axe or the saber are to be worn on the wrist of every warrior of today. Gold with diamonds set on a leather bracelet will attract all fans of ancient history.
Parisian elegance
An essential accessory for every man, the tie, was the inspiration for the “Tie” collection. Samson transcribed this masculine accessory into jewelry for women with a ring, earrings and a pendant. The mixture of rose gold and white gold is very successful. The line of diamonds perfectly creates the motif of the tie on these very chic and classy jewels.
For the bride and groom, Élégance GS offers a wide choice of ultra-modern and super original wedding bands. The horizontal or vertical bricks, the spiral, the wheat, the butterflies or the flowers inspired Samson to create the “Wedding” collection. Available in yellow, pink or white gold and in a version with or without diamonds, theses rings can be stack and fit for everybody.
